Also since we’re just getting to Rin here’s my thing

Of course the push for toriko/rin was Not Good in the series because it was so badly written

But I want to like rin. I want to like Rin especially because it feels so sad to dislike one of the main lady characters in a series. But I can’t like cannon Rin because guess what she doesn’t have a character outside of liking toriko. The only thing she ever does is talk about toriko and be super thirsty about him and I’m like. Come on guys. She’s a whole scientist who works with dangerous animals, we can give her something. A fascination with beasts that could and would kill her maybe. Some kind of determination that ALL creatures are cute to contrast with Sunny’s super high beauty standards. ANYTHING.

And like I still would have been like ugh if she and toriko ended up together if she was more of a character, but at least we would have had something to work with here

Explaining Anime Badly✨ pt 9

I'm not a huge fan of "cozy shows" and, despite its idyllic name, Otherside Picnic is precisely my cup of tea. The story is basically a supernatural isekai (redundant??) that flirts with the boundary between reality and insanity. Picture what would happen if a slightly more sober Kobayashi (from Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid) and slightly less altruistic Chisato (from Lycoris Recoil) met by chance and had the chance to make a little bit of money together. Needless to say, they work hard for the money. While It's not super gory, it gives flesh to urban legends in manners that range from silly to creepy and constantly has you feet over head, so to speak, as you and the girls try to navigate and discern the line between their world and the other side. Did I mention it's a yuri? Just goes to show, even in sci-fi, there's always that one ex that'll keep pulling you back into their nonsense...

Im not fan of BL, but i swear that Toriko and Komatsu have more chemistry than Toriko and Rin.

[Toriko x Komatsu] Part 3/4

Komatsu noticed Toriko was acting a little strange. Toriko was usually so focused on fighting the ingredient so Komatsu could get to work on their meal but his partner seemed… distracted. This hunt took much longer and Toriko may have eaten every single morsel but he didn’t look as satisfied as he usually does. He knows! He can make a special dessert for Toriko using one of the ingredients they stumbled upon along with some ingredients he brought along from their previous adventure. That will definitely cheer Toriko up from whatever could be bothering him!
